Between the three founders, we have held 8 different positions requiring strenuous amounts of effort to both input and manage hundreds of accounts, payments, and opportunities into a CRM. Ultimately, we found that the lack of structure and uniformity in these systems is to credit for intern and admin assistant pains. Because of that frustration of redundant tasks, Symbiotic Solutions was born.

It all began with a simple observation: the repetitive schedule of data input and management was draining. Especially when hiring these positions repetitively, the turbulence in these positions causes these processes to be wildly expensive and inconvenient for the company as well. Plus, even if it takes up a small part of the day for some, repetitive, mindless tasks are a killer in terms of workplace productivity and motivation. Recognizing this widespread dilemma, we embarked on a mission to revolutionize the landscape of data management. Our vision was clear - to provide a seamless, adaptable solution that would liberate companies from the shackles of mundane data entry and management.

Large CRMs like SalesForce pretend to be “one stop shops”, but for most businesses, even setting up the site for basic use requires outside contractors that cost thousands of dollars and rarely hold open, clear communication–with some even ghosting their customers entirely after collecting a check. Then the real problem occurs: data gets disorganized, difficult to locate, and duplicated. That’s why we aim to be an actual One Stop Shop where we will restructure your CRM and automate your data process, customized to your business, every time. For example, I worked for a non-profit, and every donation that came in required inputting a contact with an email, phone number, address, zip code, etc. That’s the simple part. Then, it’s time to input an opportunity that has the contact name, donor paid amount, donor charged amount, transaction fees, event name, acknowledgment status… and that’s just barely half of it. While this process is by no means difficult, it is so mundane it created dissatisfaction and a lack of motivation in me immediately. When there are hundreds of these opportunities and contacts, this problem takes weeks to reconcile, when it could be very easily done by an AI or even a simple program in a matter of hours due to its repetitive algorithmic nature. At the bare minimum, the problem can be solved without an expensive onboarding process and hourly wage.
